WoW new player tips

Today I’m going to share a few tips you can use to make your Classic experience a lot easier. I’ve been fed up with the community on the official servers so I started playing WOW servers again.

1. Just don’t die
I mean its obvious right ? Just don’t die. But there’s a bit more to this advice than might meet the eye at start. When you’re questing try to pull 1 mob at a time. Try to use as little resources to end the fight as you can and remember, your cooldowns are free, your pots arent.

2. Group up
At it’s core Classic is a lot more social game than retail wow. Most quests of your level are meant to be a bit challenging unless you are a veteran of the game and you can forget about soloing elite quests unless you really know what you’re doing. So just group up, get a few friends or even a few strangers with the same goal as you and help each other to make all your lives easier.

3. Catering opportunities
Pester your mage friends for conjured food and water. Always adventure with a bevy of refreshments as that will significantly lower your down time while also limit the times the mobs you killed to get to that boss respawns cause you took too long regenerating on your own.

4. Get buff
Many classes in vanilla have buffs that take a long time, priests and druids are the best at these but also mages. Also remember there are quite a few classes that self buff, chief among them priests but also paladins with their auras and mages/warlocks with their armor.

5. Don’t level up your skills instantly
If you level up your ability you use only once every 10 fights then that ability doesn’t seems as important as an ability you use multiple times in every fight. You should also take into consideration your spec as for example, a frost mage who used all their talent points to enhance their frost abilities isn’t as likely to get as much bang for their buck out of fireballs and fire blasts as their cone of colds and frostbolts. Just consider upgrading your skills when you’re flush with gold.

6. Start saving up
Continuing on from your previous post don’t spend money frivolously. Start saving gold for the mount skill and the mount itself at level 1 and you should be making your life a lot easier come level 40 and the need to drop that 100 gold for the skill and mount.

If you’d like to check out wow but like me don’t have the patience for grinding however I’d suggest you check out one of the fine private wow servers at : https://serverlist101.com/, they’re a dozy .
